（On Dec 2nd, in the province of La Plata in South America, it was reported that Liu Jun/Wen Tu Video）On December 1st local time, the Argentine Argentine Chinese Business Association, led by its president Chen Bin, was invited to inspect the port of La Plata in Buenos Aires Province. They were warmly received by Mr. Jose Maria Lojo, the chairman of the Argentine Ports Commission. Both sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges on issues such as port cooperation and import and export trade, and expressed their hope to promote trade between China and Argentina through cooperation.

  During the meeting, Chairman Loho first introduced the basic situation of the Port of La Plata. He pointed out that the port has an annual throughput of 300000 TEUs, advanced terminal facilities, an annual processing capacity of 450000 TEUs, and significant room for improvement. In addition, the port, with its superior geographical location and well-developed railway system, can quickly, safely, and efficiently transport goods.

     Chairman Luo Huo also emphasized the close connection between the Port of La Plata and other regions of Argentina, as well as the unique position of the port in regional economic cooperation. He expressed his hope to further deepen cooperation with the Argentine Chinese Business Association, fully leverage the role of port resources, and play a positive role in promoting trade between Argentina and China.

     President Chen Bin stated that many Chinese companies are seeking opportunities to establish cooperative relationships with Argentine companies, and several Chinese companies have expressed their willingness to investigate high-quality industries in Argentina and establish friendly cooperative relationships. This inspection trip provides valuable opportunities for both parties, and we hope to reach more cooperation intentions and achieve common development through in-depth negotiations.

     During the meeting, both sides also had detailed discussions on legal affairs, trade terms, and other topics, and expressed their intention to clarify specific plans as soon as possible to promote the implementation of the cooperation project.

    The successful holding of this inspection and meeting not only deepened the understanding of the Argentine Argentine Chinese Business Association on the port operation field in La Plata, but also laid a good foundation for promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Argentina.
