At the same time, China has taken the initiative to assume the responsibility of a great power and demonstrated its sense of responsibility, further enhancing its leading role in global environmental governance.

Ding Xuexiang emphasized that China will further accelerate the green transformation of its development mode, and is willing to strengthen unity and cooperation with all parties to jointly promote global green development and build a clean and beautiful world. One is to effectively enhance confidence, firmly follow the path of green and low-carbon development, and develop green productivity according to local conditions. Secondly, we must adhere to multilateralism, comprehensively and effectively implement the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Paris Agreement, and work together to address environmental challenges and climate crises. The third is to strengthen communication and dialogue, deepen cooperation in biodiversity conservation, plastic pollution control, and ensure the free circulation of high-quality green products. The fourth is to promote fair transformation, coordinate goals such as protecting the environment, developing the economy, creating employment, and eliminating poverty, and enhance the common and long-term well-being of people in all countries. The Chinese government will continue to strongly support the development and growth of the International Cooperation and Development Council, and contribute more wisdom and strength to strengthening China's ecological civilization construction and promoting global sustainable development.

The theme of this year's International Cooperation and Development Council Annual Meeting is "Firmly Advancing Comprehensive Green Transformation and Promoting Harmonious Coexistence between Humans and Nature". About 400 Chinese and foreign members, experts, and partners of the International Cooperation and Development Council attended the meeting.
