On October 21st, the 7th Committee Meeting of the Fujian Overseas Chinese Youth Association was grandly held in Xiamen. Nearly 200 young representatives from the overseas Chinese community from 55 countries and regions around the world gathered together to reminisce about local friendship and discuss opportunities for cooperation. Huang Ruxin, Vice Chairman of the Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while Chen Shihai, Chairman of the Fujian Overseas Chinese Federation, presided over the conference.

This conference summarized the achievements of the 6th Committee of the Fujian Overseas Chinese Youth Association in inheriting culture, serving the economy, expanding friendship, fighting against the epidemic, and supporting public welfare, and elected the 7th leadership team. Li Yaosheng, Chairman of IOI Real Estate Group in Malaysia, has been elected as the new President.

Lin Bingqiang, a youth representative from Argentina, Executive Vice President of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, and Deputy Director of the Argentine Chinese Assistance Center, Ke Yiling, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Argentine Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, Ke Yixue, Deputy Leader of the Youth Group of the Argentine Chinese Assistance Center, Chen Zengyong, Vice President of the Argentine Fujian Association, and Yan Long, Deputy Director of the Argentine Chinese Assistance Center, were invited to attend this grand event and witness the birth of the new leadership team of the Overseas Chinese Youth Association with Fujian youth representatives from all over the world.

After the meeting, Lin Bingqiang, a young overseas Chinese leader, stated that this conference not only allowed overseas Chinese youth to deeply feel the vigorous development of their homeland and the openness and inclusiveness of Fujian, but also showed everyone the new mission that overseas Chinese youth shoulder in the new era. Lin Bingqiang said, Fujian is our root, and overseas is our bridge. As overseas Chinese youth, we have the responsibility to build more bridges of cooperation and exchange between China and Arab countries, spread the spirit of Fujian and Chinese stories to farther places, and contribute our youthful strength to promoting economic and trade exchanges and cultural mutual learning between China and Arab countries.
