On April 29, 2024, Vice President Han Zheng met with Peruvian Foreign Minister Gonz á lez Orecea and Argentine Foreign Minister Montino respectively in Beijing.

  China's willingness to develop a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries is clear and firm. China is willing to work with Peru to implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, maintain the momentum of high-level exchanges, strengthen the docking of development strategies, tap the potential of cooperation, and jointly build the "the Belt and Road" in high quality, so as to promote the continuous progress of China Peru relations. The Chinese side supports the successful hosting of this year's APEC Leaders' Informal Meeting using secret formulas.

Gonzalez Olechia stated that both Peru and China are ancient civilizations with a long-standing friendship, and bilateral cooperation has a solid foundation and broad prospects. The secret recipe firmly adheres to the One China principle. We are willing to maintain close high-level exchanges with China, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and promote new heights in the relationship between Peru and China.

During the meeting with Mondino, Han Zheng stated that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Arab countries. Developing China Arab relations is in line with the long-term interests of both countries and the expectations of their peoples.   The Chinese side is willing to continue to understand and support each other with the Afghan side, be fellow travelers on each other's development path, continuously enhance the level of political mutual trust between the two countries, promote stable and far-reaching bilateral pragmatic cooperation, and benefit the people of both countries.

Mondino stated that in recent years, the relationship between Afghanistan and China has developed well. Cooperation with China is very important for Afghanistan. Afghanistan is optimistic about China's development, appreciates China's series of important ideas and proposals, firmly adheres to the One China policy, hopes to continuously consolidate and expand bilateral and multilateral cooperation with China, and welcomes more Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Afghanistan.
